Rental Policies
Please read the policies for the Castle Inn before you reserve a room.  The Castle Inn is The Best Hotel in Helen with River Views and Balconies for your enjoyment.
 
 

Reservation Policy
We accept Visa and/or MasterCard. When your reservation is made 1/2 of the total will be charged to your credit card.  The balance of the rent plus tax is due upon your arrival.  If you modify your reservation more than once you are subject to a $30.00 administrative fee.  Sorry, no pets allowed. NO SMOKING allowed inside any of the rooms and a $75.00 fee will be charged to you if this happens.

 

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours ahead of time, a $30 cancellation fee will be charged.

If you cancel MORE than 24 hours from your date of arrival, there will only be a $15 cancellation fee charged.

In the event that you do not contact A-1 Vacation Rentals to cancel your reservation, and you do not come, it will be considered a "No Show"  and you will be charged the TOTAL amount of your reservation, plus a $30 cancellation fee. Please don't let this happen.

You must call the office during regular buisness hours and receive a cancellation number for your cancellation to be valid.

NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANY REASON.THANK YOU MANAGEMENT.

 

Check-In Time is 3pm
Keys are not available until the unit is ready for occupancy.  No exceptions to this policy will be made.Check In time is 3pm.Check out time is 11am.

 

Check-Out Time is 11am
Guest(s) not departing as agreed will be subject to additional charges as applicable.

 

Keys
All keys must be returned to our office at the time of check-out.  Guest(s) are normally issued one set of keys at check-in.  The guest(s) are responsible for any lost keys. We require a $5.00 cash key deposit per key at check- in, when the keys are returned to A-1 Vacation Rentals you will be refunded the key deposit. If the locks at the unit must be re-keyed in the event the keys are lost, misplaced, not returned, etc. by the guest(s), the cost of this procedures will be the responsibility of the guest(s).

 

Cable Television
A-1 does not guarantee any programming with regard to television program reception at our properties.

 

No House Parties/No Extra Guests
Rental guest understands and agrees that we will accept families, married couples, and responsible adults over the age of 21 only.  Guest(s) also agree that the premises shall not be occupied by more than the number of people stated on the reservation.  If the unit is occupied by more than the number of people stated it will result in loss of total rent, and/or additional charge to credit card.  Occupants in use of premises shall not be such as to disturb or offend neighbors in any manner.  The use of firearms or fireworks is strictly prohibited.  Any complaints of any nature will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and dealt with accordingly.

 

Castle Inn Stairways
The Castle Inn Hotel is on the second floor with stairway access only.

 

Pets
No pets are allowed on the premises.  Any evidence of a pet of any kind on the premises will result in an additional charge of $100 or more. This policy will be strictly enforced at all times.  The only exceptions that are made will be for seeing-eye dogs and law enforcement canines.  However, this must be discussed at the time of booking with the reservationist, to insure that there are no problems and/or misunderstandings at check-in. 

 

Access for Repairs
An A-1 authorized employee or authorized repairman may enter the premises during business hours for any purpose connected with the repair, care or maintenance of the premises.

 

Refund Policy
All qualified refunds will be reviewed by the management.  Refunds which are awarded will be prorated to comply with individual's situation.  Refunds awarded will be issued by the accounting department of A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc. within a time period of 2-3 weeks.Refunds will not be given if you choose to leave early.

NO CASH REFUNDS ARE EVER GIVEN!

 

Weather Refunds
No refunds will be given for cancellation or interruption that occurs due to inclement weather.

In the event of appliance or mechanical failure of any type at the unit, A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc. will make every attempt to repair the problem or move the guest(s) to a different unit if possible.  Please notify A-1's office immediately of any problems that you encounter.  Please keep in mind that the property has been reserved and held for you and that others may have been turned away.  Therefore, please do not ask for refunds.

 

Damages
Guest(s) shall leave premises in neat and undamaged condition.   All missing or damaged linens will be charged back to the guest staying in that room.  Smoking is not allowed in the  rooms.  Failure to follow any of these rules will result in loss of deposit and/or additional charges to the guest(s) credit card.

Guest(s) shall be solely responsible for any property damage, accident, injury or loss substained by any person including loss of money, jewelry, and any other items or personal property arising out of or in any related to guest(s) request.  Guest(s) assumes the risk of injury or other loss's relating to any recreational activities and will hold Castle Inn and A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc. harmless with respect there to.  Castle Inn and A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc. are not responsible for articles left on premises.  Lost and found items will be held for 30 days.  After such time all items will be donated to charity.

 

Loss and Damage
Guest agrees to indemnify and save A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc., its employees and contractors free and harmless from any claim or liability for an loss or damage whatsoever arising from related to, or in connection with the rental of any unit/property, including but not limited to any claim or liability for personal injury or damage or loss of property which is made, incurred or sustained by guest or any invitees.

 

Property Becoming Unavailable
In the event that the owner of the Castle Inn elects to remove his property from the management responsibility of A-1 Vacation Rentals, Inc. or property becomes unavailable due to sale or damage A-1 shall not be held liable by guest(s).  However, A-1 will make every effort to move the guest(s) reservation to a comparable property for that same time period if at all possible.  A move of this nature may result in an increase in the rent charges depending on the property that is mutually agreed upon between A-1 and the the   guest(s).  If no agreement can be reached the guest will be provided with a refund.

 

Linens and Supplies
The Castle Inn guest will receive Partials during their stay provided the Maid Service Sign is on the door.

 

Balcony Policy
The Castle Inn promotes a smoke free environment.  If you choose to smoke you must do so on the balcony with the door to the room closed so no smoke enters the room. If smoking occurs in the room you will immediately be charged a $75.00 fee.

Published Rate Info
All published rates are nightly rates with the exception of the weekly rate which is for 7 consecutive nights.  However, please be advised that the rates do not include applicable taxes.
